When has apathy become a virtue? Was it that precise moment in time when technology married suburbia? we got inside our own suburban bubble and we found ourselves with endless propaganda? The internet and 24 hours of information to feed off of , serving to tell ourselves we should balance ourselves - not balance to the universe and its ever fluctuating causes of energy and spirit, but balance ourselves to the status quo of our immediate society. Don't step out of line and never determine that you are upset and emotionally uncertain. The more you disconnected from the concerns of others, and label that person in stress as crazy, or even just saying "she's having a bad hair day", the stronger your bond becomes with the group and away from your own individual self. Is there a benefit to this? Inside of the bubble you long for uniformity with the other bubbles. You long to be accepted and liked. Staying calm, aloof and neutral, you will get no harm or attention from the group. Inside yourself, you are never neutral, you are always alive and filled with both love and fear, and living in a world where its become increasingly more difficult to express yourself.

Why has being depressed lost is credibility? It can be a productive fact of life that helps a man exercise his powers of curiosity and creativity? A man can look at his pain and stay in that moment to conjour a strength, a motivator towards healing the pain.

Why has being present in your sadness meant that you were not okay? Why is being anything but steadily neutral, not okay?
